The Lonza Board of Directors has announced the nomination of Stephen Fry as an Independent Member of the Board, subject to election at the Lonza Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. If elected, Fry will also join the People and Governance Committee and the Audit and Compliance Committee. This nomination underscores Lonza's commitment to strengthening its leadership with deep pharmaceutical industry expertise and a focus on organizational transformation.

Stephen Fry brings over three decades of experience from Eli Lilly and Company, where he held various international, operational, and executive leadership roles. Notably, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for 12 years, leading large-scale organizational transformation and shaping high-performance cultures. His expertise in succession planning and people strategy development is expected to complement the existing board capabilities. Fry is also a Member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Indianapolis (US).
