Mad Hatter's July 4th Waterfront Festival Marks 12th Year with Expanded Night Market

The Mad Hatter's July 4th Waterfront Festival returns to Vallejo's Barbara Kondylis Waterfront Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for its 12th annual celebration. Produced by Hyperion Community Partners LLC in partnership with the City of Vallejo, the event draws thousands to the waterfront overlooking Mare Island, where historic ships are docked at the island's shipbuilding facilities. From daybreak to sundown, attendees can explore an array of peddlers and merchants, including makers, food trucks, and wellness activities, alongside family-friendly attractions.

Daytime highlights include the popular Annual Maritime Dog Parade, interactive exhibits with the Wholly Wackers (sheep), rescued reptiles, a Kids Zone, Giant Kites, Classic Cars, cultural performances, and live music. As dusk falls, the event transforms into a Night Market with an international food court offering diverse cuisines, shopping, and live entertainment. The evening culminates with a Lighted Sky Show and Grand Finale fireworks display, celebrating the 250th anniversary of Independence Day.

Hyperion Community Partners LLC also produces the Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade & Tree Lighting on the first Saturday of December.
