Revenue from solar and battery storage is expected to support the long-term operation of the nature preserve, with project planners estimating the park's fund could grow to approximately $50 million over the next three decades.
The solar facilities could be operational by the end of 2027, while battery energy storage development is expected to continue through the end of the decade.
