NCQC Laboratory LLP, a NABL-accredited calibration laboratory based in India, has completed an international on-site calibration project at ERRL Pte. Ltd., a product safety testing laboratory in Singapore. ERRL specializes in testing packaging materials for the transportation of dangerous goods according to United Nations (UN) Recommendations. To maintain the accuracy of its testing operations, ERRL engaged NCQC to calibrate critical instruments including weighing balances, a deep freezer, and a stability chamber.
For the calibration, NCQC used advanced reference standards such as E1 and E2 class weights for balances and a high-precision temperature calibrator for temperature-controlled equipment. The process maintained a Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) of approximately 4:1, ensuring measurements met stringent accuracy requirements. Experienced professionals performed the calibration with minimal disruption to ERRL's operations.
