New Book 'MENOPOLY' Offers Humorous Take on Modern Dating and Relationship Pitfalls

In her latest book, MENOPOLY – A parody about the grim reality of dating in the Techno-Age!, author BA Ball, known as Barby, delivers a humorous yet insightful exploration of the modern dating landscape. Drawing from her own experiences, Ball categorizes 15 distinct male archetypes encountered in dating, including The Pistol Packer, The Hose Dragger, Bi-Polar Man, The Cheetah (aka Cheater), and Loser/Liar. The book aims to entertain while educating women on potential red flags and offering men a mirror of undesirable behaviors.

Ball's journey into writing began with a blog, which her best friend encouraged her to turn into a book. The result is a collection of anecdotes that blend humor with hard-earned wisdom. 'I dated these guys and took a funny spin on my experiences. Pretty much seen most all the good, bad and ugly out there,' Ball said. Her writing style reflects her belief that laughter is a powerful tool for coping with life's challenges.

The author's sense of humor, she claims, is genetic. 'Records show I'm related to Lucille Ball which makes so much sense. It's in my genes!' This comedic lineage shines through in MENOPOLY, which she describes as a 'funny spin' on her dating life. The book also serves as a tutorial for women on what to watch out for and for men on how not to behave.

Ball is already working on her next project, Life in the Hen House, which uses chicken behavior as a metaphor for social dynamics among women. 'When you introduce a new hen into the hen house they will check it out, size it up and if they don't like her…peck her to death, literally. Sound familiar? Women do the same. Henceforth where the term "Pecking Order" came from,' she explained.

MENOPOLY is available for purchase on Amazon.com and other major book retailers. The book is published through Total Publishing And Media, a company that offers a range of services from writing and editing to distribution and marketing. In a dating world often fraught with frustration, Ball's parody offers a light-hearted escape and a reminder not to take romance too seriously. As she puts it, 'Men from my past often ask if they are in the book. If they are, should they be scared or honored?'
