Two New England co-authors have released their third book in the 'Haunting Of' series, 'Haunting of Wilson Castle,' which achieved number one status on Amazon shortly after its June 1, 2026 publication. The book details a five-hour public paranormal investigation at Wilson Castle, a 19th-century architectural masterpiece in Vermont's Green Mountains, where the team uncovered a century-old secret love affair.
Rob Gutro, a medium and paranormal investigator, and Monique Toosoon, a paranormal drag queen and technology expert, led the investigation alongside medium Lexi Duquette and The Digital Séance Experience. They explored the castle's haunted history, communicating with earthbound ghosts including a man with a darker side, a child seeking truth, and others. 'We had amazing communications with Elliot and Sarah's ghosts and might've even uncovered a secret castle love affair,' Toosoon said. 'But things took a darker turn after midnight when an ominous male presence made himself known.'
The investigation was initiated by Toosoon and approved by Denise Davine, owner/operator of Wilson Castle. Gutro, who communicated with the ghosts, noted, 'Learning the personal emotional stories of the ghosts we encountered, and assembling the puzzle together with mediums and technology was amazing.' The book is part of a series based on true paranormal investigations conducted by Gutro and Toosoon, with assistance from other professionals.
Gutro, a scientist, explains paranormal phenomena using the science of energy, distinguishing earthbound entities as ghosts and those who crossed over as spirits. Toosoon acts as a trigger object for paranormal activity and is skilled in the latest paranormal technologies, which are explained in the books. Each book provides a history of the location with photographs and sketches of ghosts. For more information about Wilson Castle, visit www.wilsoncastle.com. Books are available on Amazon in paperback, e-book, and audiobook.
