New Horizon Medical Solutions Partners with Soring to Distribute Ultrasonic Wound Debridement Device

New Horizon Medical Solutions (NHMS), a leader in advanced wound care technologies, has announced a new strategic collaboration with Soring, the U.S. affiliate of Söring (Germany), to distribute Söring's Ultrasonic-Assisted Wound (UAW) debridement system. This partnership aims to expand access to innovative wound care tools that address critical gaps in treatment, improving efficiency and patient outcomes across diverse care settings.

The Söring system, known as the SONOCA 185, consists of an ultrasonic generator and an instrument designed for debridement and wound cleansing of chronic and acute wounds. It is specifically intended to remove fibrin tissues such as necroses, fibrin, scab, and pus, and to break up biofilms. By doing so, the device improves wound status and promotes healing in conditions like diabetic foot syndrome, decubitus ulcers, burns, post-surgical wounds, and post-traumatic wounds.

Jeffrey Alan Niezgoda, MD, FACHM, MAPWCA, CHWS, Chief Medical Officer of Kent Imaging and board member of NHMS, emphasized the synergistic benefits of combining the ultrasonic system with other advanced technologies. He stated, "The use of SONOCA 185 and the UAW instruments for Ultrasonic Wound Debridement guided by SnapshotGLO and monitored by SnapshotNIR, can significantly improve wound management and lead to better patient outcomes. These devices synergistically optimize wound bed preparation prior to CAMPs application."

Will Hall, CEO of New Horizon Medical Solutions, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting, "This collaboration reflects our belief that the future of wound care lies in combining advanced technology with evidence-based clinical solutions. By bringing Söring's ultrasonic system into our portfolio, we're expanding access to innovative tools that address critical gaps in treatment while improving efficiency and outcomes across care settings."

New Horizon Medical Solutions is a pioneering organization committed to developing and delivering biologically derived human placental allograft products, including amniotic membranes, placental tissues, and skin grafts for chronic wounds, surgical reconstruction, burns, and orthopedic procedures. Through evidence-based design and precision manufacturing, NHMS strives to enhance patient outcomes.

Söring, founded in 1985 and headquartered in Germany, specializes in ultrasonic tissue resection and ablation, developing medical technologies used by healthcare professionals worldwide. The partnership between NHMS and Soring underscores a shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern wound care, making procedures more efficient, safer, and easier to perform.
