Nicola Mining and Ocean Partners Commit $10 Million to Blue Lagoon Resources for Dome Mountain Gold-Silver Project

Nicola Mining Inc. (NASDAQ: NICM) (TSX.V: NIM) (FSE: HLIA) and Ocean Partners UK Limited have each committed $5 million, totaling $10 million, in financing to Blue Lagoon Resources (CSE: BLLG). The funds are earmarked to support continued development and the production ramp-up of Blue Lagoon's 100%-owned Dome Mountain Gold and Silver Project near Smithers, British Columbia, targeting a production rate of 150 to 200 tonnes per day. Nicola completed its investment through a private placement at $0.60 per share, acquiring 8,333,333 common shares.

This investment builds on Nicola's previous $1 million investment in Blue Lagoon completed in January 2024, while Ocean Partners has now committed a total of $8 million to Blue Lagoon. The financing underscores the strengthening relationship among mine development, concentrate marketing, and milling infrastructure. Nicola's wholly owned Merritt Mill is expected to play an increasingly important role as Blue Lagoon advances production, highlighting the strategic integration of their operations.

The Dome Mountain Gold and Silver Project is a high-grade project that will benefit from the capital infusion to accelerate its path to production. The partnership between Nicola, Ocean Partners, and Blue Lagoon represents a collaborative approach to mining development, leveraging each company's strengths in finance, marketing, and processing capabilities.

Nicola Mining is a junior mining company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Frankfurt Exchange, maintaining a 100% owned mill and tailings facility near Merritt, British Columbia. The company has signed Mining and Milling Profit Share Agreements with high-grade gold projects and operates a fully permitted mill capable of processing gold and silver feed via gravity and flotation processes. Nicola also owns 100% of the New Craigmont Project, a high-grade copper property covering 10,913 hectares adjacent to Highland Valley Copper, and the Treasure Mountain Property, which includes 30 mineral claims and a mineral lease spanning over 2,200 hectares.

Ocean Partners UK Limited is a global provider of marketing and financing solutions to the mining industry, and its increased commitment to Blue Lagoon signals confidence in the project's potential. The combined expertise in concentrate marketing and project financing is expected to de-risk the development and enhance the value chain for all stakeholders.

This financing round not only provides Blue Lagoon with the necessary capital to advance its operations but also reinforces the strategic alliances that can drive efficiency and growth in the junior mining sector. As the Dome Mountain project moves toward its production target, the collaboration among these companies will be crucial in overcoming operational challenges and maximizing returns.
