Nittany Game Week Expands Reach for Sixth Season, Now Broadcasting to 24 Million Viewers Across Eight States

Penn State football fans across the Mid-Atlantic will have more access than ever to 'Nittany Game Week' as the pregame show returns for its sixth season. The program, hosted by FOX43 Sports Director Todd Sadowski and featuring former Nittany Lions coaches Tom Bradley and Jay Paterno, will now reach more than 24 million people across eight states: Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, New Jersey, and Virginia.

The expansion includes a new partnership with FOX 29 Philadelphia, which joins the Nittany Game Week Network. Additionally, the show will be available on Reach TV in 90 U.S. airports, including 48 of the top 50, from JFK to LAX. This broadens the show's footprint significantly, allowing Penn State fans traveling or living outside traditional broadcast areas to stay connected.

Jay Paterno emphasized the show's unique value, stating, 'We give Nittany Lions fans the kind of insight you can't get anywhere else. Tom and I bring decades of experience, our guests bring unique perspectives, and with Todd, we're able to preview the game while telling the stories that make Penn State athletics so special, from football in the fall to the entire spectrum of Nittany Lions athletics throughout the year.'

The show has evolved beyond a simple pregame preview, offering exclusive scouting reports, 'Impact Interviews,' and segments featuring fan questions and game-day photo submissions. It also extends beyond the football season, continuing through May to cover all Penn State sports.

Broadcast times vary by region, with Friday airings at 6:30 p.m. on FOX43 in York/Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA, and 10:00 p.m. on DelMarVa Sports Network in Salisbury, MD. Saturday schedules include early morning slots such as 6:00 a.m. on WSEE-TV in Erie, PA, and 7:30 a.m. on FOX 29 in Philadelphia, with additional broadcasts throughout the day on networks like WNEP2, FOX 8, FOX43, WYFX, FOX 53, BIG FOX, WTOV, and ABC affiliates. Episodes and additional content are also available online via the show's YouTube channel and digital platforms.

The show is backed by a team with deep Penn State roots. Tom Bradley, captain of the 1978 team and a coach under Joe Paterno for over two decades, was named AP Defensive Coordinator of the Year in 2005 and inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. Jay Paterno spent 17 years coaching at Penn State, helping to build top-ranked recruiting classes and coaching two Big Ten MVPs. Todd Sadowski has been a fixture in Pennsylvania sports media for over 20 years, anchoring FOX43 sports coverage since 2000.

Jay Paterno continues to be a prominent voice in college football discussions, having authored 'BLITZED! The All-Out Pressure of College Football's New Era,' which explores challenges like NIL deals and mental health. His insights are regularly shared through speaking engagements and commentary.
