Nordex Group Secures 389 MW of New Wind Orders in Turkiye, Strengthening Market Leadership

The Nordex Group has secured new orders totaling 389 MW in Turkiye, one of its main markets, as announced by the company. The contracts, signed in September, cover the supply and installation of 56 wind turbines from the Delta4000 series, along with multi-year service and maintenance agreements. These agreements are designed to ensure high turbine availability and efficient, reliable operation over the long term. Each turbine type and configuration has been selected to meet the specific wind conditions, technical requirements, and site characteristics of the respective projects, including energy storage. This tailored approach supports efficient and reliable energy generation across different locations.

Installation and commissioning of the projects are scheduled to take place in stages, beginning in 2027 and continuing through 2028, in line with the respective project timelines. Ender Ozatay, Vice President Region Turkiye and Middle East of the Nordex Group, commented, “These new orders underline the continued confidence of our customers in Nordex and further strengthen our market leading position in Turkiye, one of our key markets. With turbine configurations tailored to the specific requirements of each site and comprehensive long-term service agreements, we will support our customers in delivering reliable, high-yield wind projects and advancing Turkiye’s renewable energy ambitions.” The names of the customers and projects were not disclosed.

The significance of this announcement lies in its reinforcement of Nordex's dominant position in Turkiye's wind energy sector. Turkiye has been actively expanding its renewable energy capacity to reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels and meet growing electricity demand. Nordex's ability to secure such a substantial order volume in a competitive market demonstrates customer trust in its technology and service offerings. The Delta4000 series, known for its efficiency and adaptability, is well-suited for Turkiye's diverse wind conditions, and the inclusion of energy storage components highlights the growing trend of integrating storage with wind projects to enhance grid stability and energy dispatchability.

Moreover, the multi-year service agreements provide Nordex with a recurring revenue stream and long-term customer relationships, which are crucial for sustained growth. The staged installation through 2028 ensures a steady pipeline of activity for the company's manufacturing and service networks. This order also contributes to Turkiye's renewable energy targets, supporting the country's efforts to increase the share of clean energy in its power mix. As reported by NEWMEDIAWIRE, the Nordex Group has a strong track record with over 64 GW of wind power capacity commissioned in more than 40 markets since 1985. In 2025, the company generated consolidated sales of around EUR 7.6 billion and employs more than 11,100 people. Its product portfolio focuses on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ classes, designed for markets with limited space and constrained grid capacity.

The new orders in Turkiye are a clear indication of Nordex's strategic focus on key markets and its ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet local requirements. For Turkiye, these projects will contribute to job creation, technological transfer, and the reduction of carbon emissions. For Nordex, they solidify its market leadership and provide a foundation for further growth in the region. The full details of the orders can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.
