In an open letter addressed to the architects of the global future, Sajid Khan, author of "A Scientific World Order" and founder of the 4th R Foundation, challenges world leaders gathered at the World Economic Forum in Davos to reconsider their approach to solving global crises. Khan argues that despite unprecedented wealth, intelligence, and political power, the world remains fractured because leaders are attempting to solve biological problems with economic tools.
"You are building high-speed rails and digital infrastructures, but you are ignoring the broken infrastructure inside the human skull," Khan writes. He identifies a fatal assumption in modern education and governance: equating intelligence (IQ) with wisdom. According to Khan, current systems mass-produce what he calls "Smart Monsters"—leaders with high intellect but blocked emotional brains due to unhealed trauma and ego. These individuals, he contends, cannot engage in genuine dialogue but only compete to win, making their high IQ more dangerous than beneficial.
Khan introduces a scientific distinction between the Mind and the Brain. The Mind is the Driver, or self-image, while the Brain is the Engine, the emotional factory. He asserts that trillions have been spent polishing the Driver through education in skills, coding, and economics, while the Engine remains clogged with emotional sludge. When a crisis occurs, the Brain overheats, overpowering the logical Mind, and the "Smart Monster" takes control. This, he says, is why treaties fail and cooperation collapses.
To address this, Khan proposes the "Wisdom Industry," a new economic sector built on the Science of Braintecness and Emotional Brain Shunting (EBS). These methods claim to quantify a leader's "Emotional Altitude"—measuring whether they operate as a Monster, Crook, Adult, or Sage—and physically clear emotional blockages to restore empathy. Khan envisions Wisdom Spas, Brain Education programs, and a shift from mental health band-aids to prevention through the "4th R" (Righteousness or Wisdom) in schools.
"The human brain is a treasure trove. A healed, wise brain creates wealth, health, and peace. A broken brain destroys it," Khan states. He invites global leaders to pivot resources toward this industry, establishing hospitals for emotional brain health, creating new professions like brain therapists, and adding a ministry of wisdom health. The 4th R Foundation, headquartered in Ridgefield Park, NJ, has already developed intellectual property including U.S. patents for quantifying the mind and designing Wisdom Spas, and has published 217 books on the subject.
The foundation is currently seeking partners to launch the First Global Brain Health Summit in 2026, aiming to establish the Wisdom Industry as a legitimate economic sector. Khan concludes his letter with an invitation: "The world does not need another summit of speeches. It needs a summit of healing."
