Yacoub has been selected for the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division's 2026 On the Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. This national honor recognizes 40 ABA young lawyer members who demonstrate exceptional achievement, innovation, leadership, and service to the legal profession and their communities.
Yacoub, based in Orlando, was recognized for his accomplishments as a business immigration attorney, legal scholar, and advocate for individuals and businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system. He represents clients nationwide in employment-based immigration matters, with a particular focus on EB-2 National Interest Waiver and EB-1 Extraordinary Ability petitions.
His unique perspective stems from having personally obtained permanent residency through the National Interest Waiver process. This firsthand experience informs his approach to representing professionals, entrepreneurs, physicians, scientists, engineers, researchers, and investors.
"Immigration cases are rarely just paperwork. They decide where someone builds a career, raises a family and contributes their work," said Yacoub. "I went through the National Interest Waiver process myself, so I know what my clients are carrying while they wait. This recognition belongs as much to them as it does to me."

He earned a Master of Laws in International Law from New York University School of Law, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and served as a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
