The SL100 integrates a dedicated 23.8-inch Full HD front-facing display into the lectern, providing a clear space for meeting information, event schedules, welcome messages and other audience-facing content. Content can be played locally via USB or updated remotely through a mobile app, making it easier to prepare and manage content without adding another device to the presentation setup. This eliminates the need for additional displays or separate playback devices, streamlining the audience-facing aspect of presentations.
In terms of presenter interaction, the SL100 combines a 23.8-inch interactive pen and touch display with a built-in Windows PC. Presenters can access and operate their content directly from the lectern, much like using their own computer, while support for Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP)-compatible pens enables natural writing and annotation. This integrated setup reduces the need for external devices such as laptops, mice, or separate interactive displays, providing a familiar and seamless presentation experience.
The SL100 also simplifies AV control. Conventional presentation systems often require separate interfaces or network-connected control systems to switch sources, adjust audio or operate connected devices. The SL100 brings key functions such as 3×3 matrix switching, device control, presentation timing and audio adjustment into its integrated control panel, and these core local controls can operate without an internet connection. This makes the lectern easier to deploy in environments where network configuration may be complex, and ensures essential presentation controls remain available even when network conditions are unstable.
For organizations managing multiple presentation spaces, the SL100 extends beyond the room through integration with the Q-NEX Platform, supporting remote management via a web console or mobile app. Administrators can manage the lectern and supported connected devices remotely, providing a more practical approach to maintaining presentation technology across multiple spaces. This capability addresses the challenge of overseeing technology in diverse and distributed environments.
The SL100 is one of the Q-NEX digital podium series designed to address different application needs. For campus environments, the NDP200 and NDP600 provide two different approaches: the freestanding NDP200 is suited to larger spaces such as campus auditoriums and lecture halls, while the desktop NDP600 is designed for classrooms and spaces with existing traditional lecterns. With its front-facing digital signage and network-independent control panel, the SL100 is particularly suited to formal presentation environments such as executive meeting rooms, professional training spaces and seminar halls.
