Since opening its Salinas and Sonoma sites in spring 2026, Reservoir Farms has already attracted more than 20 agricultural startups, indicating strong early interest in its field-based model. These centers provide startups with access to working farms, grower feedback, and testing facilities, which are critical for developing rugged AI that performs reliably under actual operating conditions.
The partnership also aims to expand innovation opportunities in rural communities by connecting entrepreneurs and deep-tech engineers more directly with growers, farm operations, and industry partners across California, Arizona, and soon other key agricultural regions.
