Rick Case Bikes for Kids Accepts Bicycle Donations Through December 20

Rick Case Bikes for Kids is once again inviting the community to donate gently used bicycles through December 20. The program, now in its 44th year, has collected upwards of 122,000 bicycles and distributed them to children through organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, and Women in Distress. Donations can be dropped off at any Rick Case Automotive Group dealership in Broward County.

“Most of us can remember our first bike and that feeling of independence and joy that comes with it. We bring that moment to kids in our community with Rick Case Bikes for Kids,” said Rita Case, President and CEO of the Rick Case Automotive Group. “What also makes it special is that for many of these kids, this is their first bike. I am incredibly grateful for the community’s generosity in donating bikes they no longer need, helping us make these holidays brighter for so many kids.”

The donation drive runs through December 20. Bikes can be dropped off at several locations including Rick Case Honda in Davie, Rick Case Acura in Fort Lauderdale, Rick Case Hyundai in Fort Lauderdale and Davie, Rick Case Honda Cycles in Davie, Rick Case Fiat, Alfa Romeo & Maserati in Davie, Rick Case Volkswagen in Davie, and Rick Case Kia in Sunrise. The dealerships are open seven days a week. For specific hours, visit RickCase.com.

The Rick Case Automotive Group, founded in 1962, has been recognized as the National All-Star Dealer by Automotive News, and President and CEO Rita Case was named the 2024 TIME Dealer of the Year. The group is the nation’s largest female owned and operated automotive dealer group, offering a wide range of vehicles including Honda, Hyundai, Genesis, Volkswagen, Kia, Acura, Audi, Mazda, Maserati, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Honda Motorcycles. With 12 dealerships in South Florida and Georgia, the group is headquartered in Sunrise, Florida.

This initiative not only provides bicycles to children who might not otherwise receive one but also promotes community engagement and recycling of gently used items. By donating a bike, residents can help create lasting memories for children in need, fostering a sense of independence and joy that a first bike brings. The program’s longevity underscores its impact on the local community, with over 122,000 bikes distributed over 44 years.
