Rooted Wellness Retreats has opened applications for a six-day functional medicine retreat in Kona, Hawaii, scheduled for February 26 through March 3, 2026. The program, limited to 12 participants, aims to restore the body and reset life through an immersive experience that includes chef-prepared organic meals, daily education, and one-on-one care. According to the announcement, the retreat is designed to support healing from the inside out, moving beyond theory to lived experience.
Participants will stay in an ocean-view home with a pool and sauna, steps from the beach. The program includes 15 hours of integrative health education led by Lyndsay Smith, BSN RN, a medical professional with over 20 years of experience. Smith will also provide a private one-on-one case review for each guest. Meals are crafted by Chef Ty, a culinary artist and chocolate maker, featuring organic ingredients aimed at supporting nervous system healing. Optional somatic support sessions are available from licensed bodyworker and spiritual teacher Jamie for nervous system regulation.
The retreat covers airport pickup and drop-off, local transportation, and all meals. Rates range from $1,750 to $2,550 depending on room selection, with options including king ocean-view suites, private queen rooms, shared twins, and a queen Murphy bed. Airfare is not included, but the announcement notes that roundtrip flights from Seattle to Kona are often under $400 during Black Friday sales.
Rooted Wellness Retreats emphasizes that this is not a lecture-based program but an experience that rewires how participants live, eat, rest, and think. Each day builds momentum with education in the morning, nourishment and rest in the afternoon, and reflection in the evening. The organization states that spots are limited to ensure depth, safety, and individualized care. Applications are now open at RootedWellnessRetreats.org.
Past participant Kaley S. described the retreat as "the reset I didn't know I needed," adding that she left feeling clear, energized, and truly supported. The retreat includes non-toxic essentials, welcome gifts, and ongoing community connection. With a focus on root-cause wellness education and personalized care, the program aims to help participants reverse fatigue, restore digestion, and rediscover vitality.
