Bell, who learned braiding from her grandmother in sixth grade, transitioned from a medical assistant career to pursue her passion for hair full time.
"This isn't a job for me," Bell said in a press release. "I enjoy what I do, and it's more of a passion. When I see the results of my hard work, and the wonderful feeling my clients experience when they have a new look, it's easy to see I'm doing the right thing."
