SNAH Healthcare Launches Senior Transportation Partnership with West Haven, CT

SNAH Healthcare has officially launched a new partnership with the City of West Haven, Connecticut, to provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and senior center shuttle services. The program, secured through a competitive municipal bidding process, aims to build a transportation model centered on trust, safety, and efficiency for government-funded services.

The service includes daily shuttles to the West Haven Senior Center and designated grocery shopping locations, utilizing existing schedules for residents. SNAH Healthcare emphasizes a commitment to vulnerable populations by combining person-centered customer service with advanced technology.

A key differentiator is SNAH's focus on safety, integrity, transparency, and fraud prevention. All vehicles in the fleet are equipped with front and back-facing cameras to record each trip, ensuring passenger and driver safety. Real-time GPS tracking provides full visibility for the municipality, allowing monitoring of route compliance, timeliness, and resource utilization. This transparency aims to reduce fraudulent billing and 'ghost rides,' offering a tangible return on investment through reduced costs.

The program features door-to-door assistance for seniors with mobility challenges. Trained drivers provide hands-on help from home to seat and back, combining compassionate care with accountability. SNAH's operational model is built to address common concerns about fraud and misuse of NEMT funding, offering partners complete visibility into every trip.

Paulina Wierzbicka, President of SNAH Healthcare, stated, 'We acknowledge and understand that municipalities have a fiduciary obligation to their taxpayers. Our technology and processes are intended to enhance municipalities' control and verification processes, and therefore, will not provide a 'black box' environment for our partners. We will provide our partners with performance reports, but will also provide them with the tools to monitor that performance on their own.'

The launch in West Haven reflects SNAH's experience in managing publicly funded transportation and home-care programs. The company is pursuing additional bid opportunities nationwide, offering secure and transparent partnerships that prioritize community needs and protect taxpayer investments.
