Solowin Holdings (NASDAQ: AXG) is advancing a strategy to create a regulated, AI-native financial infrastructure platform that spans digital assets, high-performance AI computing and quantum-enhanced financial modeling. The company provided an update on its progress, highlighting several recent milestones that position it at the intersection of emerging technologies and regulated finance.
A key development is the acquisition of a full stablecoin issuance license through AX Coin Bahrain B.S.C. (c) from the Central Bank of Bahrain, along with Sharia-compliant stablecoin certification. This license enables Solowin to issue stablecoins under a regulated framework, which is critical for institutional adoption and cross-border payments. The certification also opens the door to Islamic finance markets, where Sharia compliance is a prerequisite for participation.
In addition, the company launched AXG Digital, which is targeting more than 100 MW of operational AI and high-performance computing (HPC) capacity by 2028, with a development pipeline exceeding 1 GW of potential capacity. This infrastructure is essential for supporting AI workloads, including large-scale model training and inference, as well as other compute-intensive applications. The scale of the planned capacity underscores Solowin’s ambition to become a significant player in the AI infrastructure space.
Solowin is also expanding its AI technology stack through KOVAR and its AGENPAY initiative for intelligent, agent-driven payments. These efforts aim to create more automated and efficient payment systems that can operate within regulated environments, potentially reducing friction and costs for businesses and consumers.
In September, indirect wholly owned subsidiary AlloyX (Hong Kong) Limited entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with EvolveQ Limited to explore the integration of quantum computing, AI and HPC for financial and digital-asset applications. This includes next-generation AI wealth-management infrastructure and quantum-powered cross-asset and portfolio optimization. Quantum computing has the potential to solve complex optimization problems far faster than classical computers, which could revolutionize asset management and risk assessment.
These initiatives are part of AXG’s broader effort to create an integrated ecosystem connecting regulated finance, digital assets, payments, tokenization, wealth management and institutional financial services. By bringing together these elements, Solowin aims to provide a comprehensive platform that meets the evolving needs of institutions and investors in the digital economy.
Solowin Holdings, established in 2016, is a global regulated fintech company that combines blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies to operate a fully compliant dual-token digital economy super platform. Guided by the mission “Mobilizing Tokens 24/7,” AXG operates two core business pillars: Digital Asset Tokens and AI Tokens. Its offerings span stablecoin issuance and payments, asset tokenization, securities trading and asset management, as well as AI-powered services including cloud infrastructure, Know-Your-Agent verification, and token router. Through its integrated ecosystem, including AX COIN, AX ONE, FERION, SOLOMON, SCION, and KOVAR, AXG empowers global institutions and investors to capitalize on the rapid growth of the dual-token economy.
