Stevens Creek Toyota has announced the "Tacoma for Tails" Supply Drive, a month-long initiative throughout November 2025 to collect new, unopened pet supplies for Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV). The drive aims to support pets and their families in the community, with a special celebration event scheduled for Saturday, November 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the dealership, located at 4202 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, CA.
The partnership between Stevens Creek Toyota and HSSV underscores a shared commitment to animal welfare. Donations collected during the drive will help stock HSSV's shelter and community programs, which provide food, supplies, and critical care to pets and the families who love them. According to HSSV, these resources are needed now more than ever, especially during the holiday months. Most-needed items include dry and canned dog or cat food, puppy and kitten formula, treats, toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, cat litter, grooming supplies, blankets, towels, and enrichment items.
"Community drives like 'Tacoma for Tails' have a direct, immediate impact on pets and the people who love them," said Nancy Willis, Vice President of Strategic Growth at Humane Society Silicon Valley. "Every bag of food, every leash, every toy helps us provide care, keep families together, and create a stronger, brighter future for animals across our region. We're grateful to Stevens Creek Toyota and everyone pitching in."
Ray Khandan, General Manager of Stevens Creek Toyota, echoed the sentiment. "This partnership means a lot to us—not just as a business, but as members of this community. Pets bring so much joy and companionship into our lives, and we're honored to help ensure every animal gets the care and love they deserve."
The November 22 event will feature donation drop-offs, opportunities to meet adoptable animals, and interactions with HSSV staff and volunteers. Media are invited to capture interviews, visuals, and moments of community generosity. Visual opportunities include trucks and donation bins filling with supplies, HSSV team members and dealership staff in event T-shirts, and adoptable ambassador animals. A potential follow-up photo opportunity may occur when collected donations are delivered to HSSV in a Tacoma truck.
Donations are accepted at Stevens Creek Toyota throughout November. Monetary gifts to support HSSV's lifesaving work and fire rebuild efforts are also welcome. Stevens Creek Toyota, which has served the Bay Area for over 54 years, continues its commitment to community giving through this initiative.
