The swissnet Group has announced a comprehensive digitalization and infrastructure project for a traditional hotel on Lake Constance, marking the first time all seven of its core solutions have been deployed together in a single customer project. The project, scheduled for completion in March 2026, underscores the scalability of swissnet’s business model and its capacity to meet complex hospitality requirements from a single provider.
The hotel is rebuilding its technical infrastructure and will receive a fully integrated solution portfolio. Central to the project is a high-performance guest Wi-Fi network with integrated marketing functions, Wi-Fi telephones in all rooms, a modern firewall solution meeting the highest security standards, and a smart door-locking system that enhances convenience and security. A key challenge was the region’s weak broadband infrastructure, which was resolved through satellite internet.
The project volume for swissnet is a six-figure euro sum. Additionally, the hotel’s connection to a large regional hotel cooperation organizing approximately 3,300 hotels and accommodations in the Lake Constance area creates further growth potential for the swissnet Group. Jonathan Sauppe, Group Co-CEO DACH of the swissnet Group, stated, “We are very pleased to support this renowned hotel in its further digitalization. This project demonstrates our expertise in holistic digitalization concepts for the hospitality industry and confirms the successful transformation of the swissnet Group into an end-to-end partner for the hospitality sector and many other industries.”
The swissnet Group is a leading provider of location-based marketing software (LBM), Wi-Fi infrastructure systems, and guest hotspots, serving retail, hospitality, healthcare, and public sectors.
