During National Dairy Month this June, The Dairy Alliance is launching its 'Milk's Got Game' initiative and hosting a series of 'Dairy Nights at the Ballpark' in collaboration with minor league teams across the Southeast. These events aim to highlight how real dairy milk contributes to strength, performance, and active lifestyles while fostering community engagement through baseball.
Fans attending select games will have the opportunity to participate in interactive concourse activities, on-field promotions, educational segments, dairy food sampling, and themed giveaways. The focus is on demonstrating the essential nutrients found in real milk and its role in fueling athletes and families. The Dairy Alliance has established season-long partnerships with teams such as the Lexington Legends, Biloxi Shuckers, Burlington Sock Puppets, and Danville Dairy Daddies. An upcoming Dairy Night is scheduled for June 26 with the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
Farrah Newby, CEO of The Dairy Alliance, emphasized the importance of these events in connecting with communities: 'Dairy Nights at the Ballpark are a fun and meaningful way to connect with communities during National Dairy Month. Through our Milk's Got Game initiative, we're highlighting how real dairy milk fuels strength, performance, and recovery—whether on the field or in everyday life—while also celebrating dairy farmers and the communities they support.'
National Dairy Month, observed every June, honors dairy farmers and underscores the role of dairy foods like milk, cheese, and yogurt in a balanced diet. Through partnerships with minor league teams, The Dairy Alliance advances its mission of promoting dairy's value in health, wellness, and community connection.
