Comedy Village NYC, located at 352 West 44th Street in Times Square, has announced two Pride Month comedy events: “People Be Gay... and Hilarious!” on Wednesday, June 24 at 8 PM and “Celebrate Pride Feat” on Thursday, June 25 at 8 PM. The shows aim to celebrate laughter, identity, and community during Pride Month, featuring a lineup of comedians including Harrison Greenbaum, Jaye McBride, Akeem Woods, Paula J. Leon, and Oscar Aydin.
“These shows are about celebrating Pride with laughter, visibility, and community,” said a Comedy Village representative. “New York City has always been a place where comedy, culture, and identity meet. Pride Month is the perfect time to bring people together for a night of big laughs, great energy, and unforgettable live entertainment in Times Square.”
Harrison Greenbaum, known for appearances on America’s Got Talent, Conan, and Last Comic Standing, brings sharp writing and fast-paced delivery. Jaye McBride, recognized as a trailblazing transgender comedian and the first openly transgender American comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden, adds an authentic voice. Akeem Woods brings charisma and rhythm, while Oscar Aydin contributes a bold stage presence.
The events are designed for locals, tourists, LGBTQ+ audiences, allies, Broadway visitors, and nightlife fans. Guests can expect live stand-up comedy, surprise moments, drinks, and food.
