Trailbreaker Resources to Drill Three Targets in 2026, Including Inaugural Programs at Atsutla Gold and Coho Properties

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) announced plans to commence inaugural drilling on three targets during the 2026 exploration season, marking a pivotal year for the company. The programs will target the Highlands high-grade gold vein and the Swan copper-gold-silver porphyry at the 300 km² Atsutla Gold project in northwestern British Columbia, followed by drilling at the Coho Cu-Au porphyry target in central BC. All three targets are drill-ready and have never been drilled before, according to the company's May 25, 2026 news release.

At the Atsutla Gold project, the Highlands zone features quartz veins with visible gold assaying up to 630 g/t Au and 1,894 g/t Ag, within a larger 5.0 km by 4.3 km area that includes the Christmas Creek and Snook zones. The Swan zone, located 26 km east, is a porphyry target with a 1.5 km by 1.5 km multi-element soil anomaly and rock samples grading up to 11.7 g/t Au, 212 g/t Ag, and 0.81% Cu. Geophysical surveys, including a 2024 induced polarization survey, have defined a coincident chargeability high. Both zones are fully permitted, and a diamond drill program of 1,500 to 2,500 m is expected to start in late June 2026, contracted to Empire Drilling of Smithers, BC (see project presentation).

The Coho property, located 30 km west of the Mt. Milligan mine, will see its inaugural drill program in September 2026. The Coho zone is a Cu-Au porphyry target with a coincident chargeability and resistivity anomaly and high-grade surface samples. A 1,500 to 2,500 m diamond drill program has been contracted to Dorado Drilling of Smithers, BC. Additionally, Trailbreaker plans a surface exploration program on the western area of the property, following up on results from the adjacent Trident property, which returned 183.0 m of 0.77% Cu, 0.51 g/t Au, and 3.4 g/t Ag (see Coho presentation).

The company completed a $3.5 million flow-through financing, upsized due to strong demand, and has strengthened its technical team with the addition of Charlie Greig as Technical Advisor, who was involved in the Saddle North deposit. CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt stated, "2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Trailbreaker. Each of these three targets has the potential to be a major catalyst for the Company." The company expects consistent news flow as drilling and surface exploration progress across its portfolio.
