Trailbreaker Wraps First-Ever Drilling at Coho Porphyry Target, Assays Pending

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. has completed its Phase One diamond drill program at the Coho Property in central British Columbia, a milestone that matters because it marks the first time the Coho Zone itself has ever been drilled. The program comprised seven holes totalling 2,667 metres, testing an area of 1,000 by 800 metres to a vertical extent of 474 metres. For a company positioning itself as a sustained news-flow explorer, the completion of this maiden campaign is significant: it converts a long-held conceptual target into hard data, with 1,415 core samples now at Bureau Veritas' Vancouver lab and results expected in late 2026 or early 2027.

The 8,000-hectare Coho Property is a copper-gold porphyry target located 90 kilometres north of Fort St. James and 30 kilometres west of the Mt. Milligan Cu-Au porphyry deposit, and it is road accessible via a network of Forest Service Roads and logging roads. The implication of the program is that Trailbreaker has now tested multiple compelling features simultaneously: a 400 by 800 metre induced polarization (IP) chargeability and resistivity high, the Chinook showing with historic channel samples grading 0.08 g/t Au and 0.29% Cu over 11.4 metres and 0.13 g/t Au and 0.49% Cu over 2.0 metres, and the King showing where historic channel sampling returned 0.68 g/t Au and 2.83% Cu over 1.0 metre. A concurrent IP survey of four east-west lines totalling fourteen line-kilometres allowed the company to site hole CH-26-07 on a chargeability anomaly and interpreted structure 500 metres north of the King showing area, demonstrating that new geophysics is actively driving drill targeting rather than merely accompanying it. Collar details are available in Table 1: Drill collar details for the 2026 program, with the program layout shown in Figure 1: 2026 drill plan map at the Coho Property.

Why this matters extends beyond a single property. Trailbreaker also completed a six-hole, 1,684-metre program at its Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern BC in early August 2026, targeting the Highlands vein-hosted gold zone and the Swan Cu-Au-Ag-Mo porphyry zone, which are spaced 26 kilometres apart, as detailed in its August 10, 2026 news release. Assays from that program remain pending. President and CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt said the company is well positioned to provide a steady flow of news through the remainder of 2026 and early 2027. The implication for investors is a stacked catalyst calendar: Coho assays, Highlands and Swan assays, and results from a June 2026 surface program at the Masu Zone, which targeted the eastward extension of Pacific Empire Minerals' 'A Zone' on the adjoining Trident Property, where drilling returned 240.0 m of 0.64% Cu, 0.41 g/t Au, and 2.8 g/t silver (Ag).

Trailbreaker has also contracted Eagle Mapping for a property-wide airborne LiDAR survey at Atsutla, which can aid in mapping resistant or recessive lithologies and locating veins, faults, geological contacts and dikes, and Aurora Geosciences Ltd. to complete an independent NI 43-101 technical report replacing the previous report filed in December 2022. Those steps matter because they underpin the credibility of future disclosure.
