Trilogy Metals Announces Key Management Appointments at Ambler Metals Joint Venture

Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has announced senior management appointments at its 50/50 joint venture with South32 Limited, Ambler Metals LLC, which is advancing the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP) in Alaska's Ambler Mining District. The appointments are designed to strengthen the venture's technical, financial and permitting leadership as it progresses toward key milestones.

Michael Galicki has been named Vice President, Exploration; Cole Schaeffer Vice President, Human Resources, Community and Partnerships; Jenna Tan Vice President, Finance; and Ron Rimelman Senior Director, Permitting. These appointments bolster Ambler Metals' capabilities in exploration drilling, community engagement, feasibility planning and expedited federal permitting under FAST-41, positioning the venture to support near-term milestones and progress toward an investment decision on the Arctic Project.

The Ambler Mining District is one of the world's most prospective copper-dominant districts, hosting world-class polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) and carbonate replacement deposits. The UKMP includes the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite copper-cobalt deposit. Ambler Metals operates under an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., supporting responsible exploration and development in cooperation with local communities.

Trilogy Metals holds a 50% interest in Ambler Metals LLC, which owns 100% of the UKMP. The company's vision is to develop the Ambler Mining District into a premier North American copper producer while respecting subsistence livelihoods. The recent management appointments are expected to accelerate progress on the Arctic Project, which is critical for meeting growing demand for copper and other metals used in renewable energy and electric vehicles.
