Trust Moments Founder to Document AI's Real Estate Revolution at NAR NXT 2026

Cyndie Shaffstall, co-founder and COO of Trust Moments, is developing her 21st book to chronicle the growing role of artificial intelligence in the real estate industry. The new ebook, provisionally titled 100 Leadership Perspectives on AI in Real Estate, will feature interviews with dozens of industry leaders and is set for publication after the NAR NXT conference, taking place November 6–8 in New Orleans.

Trust Moments has already contacted more than 200 industry leaders and will continue conducting interviews at the conference to explore and celebrate AI's impact on real estate. The project aims to create a comprehensive snapshot of where AI currently stands in the industry, where professionals want it to develop, and how it can improve workflows.

Shaffstall's most recent ebook, Case study: How we built an AI-powered relationship and referral engine (and the things I wish I knew then), published in October, detailed the experiments and missteps of a small team without a traditional engineering background as they used AI to develop a real estate relationship and referral engine. That experience informed her perspective on AI's role.

"We are so energized by the way professionals in the real estate field are innovating the use of AI around their own workflows, creating solutions that empower humans," Shaffstall said. "We are reaching out to leaders all over the industry to create a comprehensive picture of where AI is now, where people want it to develop, and how it can make our work better than ever."

The announcement matters because it signals a broader shift in real estate toward AI-driven tools that enhance human decision-making rather than replace it. By gathering perspectives from across the industry, the ebook could serve as a benchmark for best practices and help agents understand how to integrate AI into their businesses effectively. Shaffstall emphasized that "AI isn't here to replace human cognition – it's meant to empower people, and we're excited to hear how industry leaders are putting it to work."

Trust Moments, the company behind the project, is a privacy-first, AI-assisted relationship and referral platform that helps agents surface behavioral data to better match buyers with homes. The platform's focus on privacy and human empowerment aligns with the themes Shaffstall expects to explore in the upcoming ebook. For those interested in learning more about Trust Moments, the company's website provides additional information.

Shaffstall and the founding team will be onsite at NAR NXT to conduct interviews and capture more industry perspectives. She encouraged industry leaders attending the conference to share their successes and experiences with AI, noting that collective insights will help build a stronger, more tech-forward industry. The ebook is expected to be a valuable resource for real estate professionals navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
