Vibes Massage & Spa has been named the Favorite Massage/Spa Center in the 2026 Favorites of the Foothills Reader's Choice Awards for the third consecutive year, and it also won Favorite Aesthetician for the first time. The Tryon Daily Bulletin announced the winners in August 2026, reporting that thousands of ballots were cast in the annual readers' poll.
The dual recognition matters because it signals both consistency and growth for the Columbus, NC-based business. Winning the massage/spa category three years running suggests a durable base of satisfied clients in a competitive local market, while the first-time aesthetician award indicates that the spa's skin-care services are now drawing independent voter support. For a small business serving Polk County and nearby communities in upper Spartanburg County, SC, that combination can reinforce customer trust and differentiate it from competitors that offer only one type of service.
The Favorites of the Foothills awards allow readers to vote for their favorite local businesses, people and organizations across Tryon, Columbus, Saluda, Mill Spring, Landrum and Campobello. Because the contest is decided by public balloting rather than by an editorial panel, a win functions as a direct endorsement from the community. The newspaper's report that thousands of ballots were cast this year raises the visibility of every winner, giving Vibes Massage & Spa a credible, third-party validation to cite in its marketing and client communications.
Vibes Massage & Spa offers massage therapy, esthetician services, reflexology, and manicures and pedicures along with other spa treatments at its Columbus location. The breadth of services under one roof gives local clients access to a range of treatments in a single comfortable space, which may help explain the spa's repeat success in the massage/spa category. The aesthetician award also points to the spa's ability to compete in a specialized service line, not just in general massage therapy.
The full list of winners is available on the Tryon Daily Bulletin website, and more information about the spa can be found at vibesmassageandspa.com. The recognition arrives as local service businesses increasingly rely on community-driven awards to stand out, and for Vibes Massage & Spa, the 2026 results provide a measurable sign that its reputation across the Foothills remains strong.
