Warner & Fitzmartin, a Lake Worth-based law firm specializing in personal injury cases, has announced the opening of applications for its inaugural Our Voices In Need Scholarship. The $1,000 award is designed to assist one deserving student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program across the United States. High school seniors and GED recipients who have been accepted to accredited programs are also eligible to apply.
The scholarship targets students pursuing careers in law, justice, or social advocacy who demonstrate academic achievement and a commitment to helping others. According to the firm, the ideal candidate shows leadership abilities, engages with their community, and maintains high ethical standards. The initiative reflects the firm's broader dedication to community service, building on its history of pro bono legal work and local volunteering.
Applicants must submit a current resume, an unofficial transcript, and an essay via email to scholarship@warnerfitzmartin.com by September 30, 2026. The firm requests that inquiries be directed to the same email address rather than phone calls to their office. The winner will be announced in October 2026, and the award may be applied toward tuition, fees, and textbooks.
Founding partners Aaron Warner and Elissa Fitzmartin established the scholarship to help remove financial barriers for students working toward careers that serve others. The firm, which represents injured victims throughout Florida, handles cases ranging from car accidents and motorcycle crashes to wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. Both partners are members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and have recovered millions in verdicts and settlements for clients across the state. The firm maintains offices serving Palm Beach County communities, including Lake Worth and Delray Beach, and offers free consultations with direct attorney access.
This scholarship marks the firm's latest community initiative, reinforcing its commitment to advocacy and service beyond the courtroom. By supporting students who share these values, Warner & Fitzmartin aims to invest in the next generation of legal and social advocates.
