Wrap Technologies Expands Private Security Presence with Stark Security Deployment of Wrap Reality Training Platform

Wrap Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WRAP), a provider of non-lethal public safety technologies, announced that Stark Security Inc., a Chicago-based protective services firm, has selected and will deploy the company’s Wrap Reality virtual reality training platform across its operations and officer training programs. This deployment expands WRAP’s presence in the private security market, with Stark using the immersive platform to train armed and unarmed officers in de-escalation, situational awareness, communication and policy-based decision-making through realistic scenarios.

WRAP said the deployment supports its broader WrapShield platform strategy and reflects growing demand for immersive training solutions in the private security sector. The company added that ATF Ruling 2026-2, which classifies its BolaWrap 150 as an instrument of restraint rather than a firearm or weapon under federal law, could expand access to civilian and private security markets as it continues to broaden adoption of its training and non-lethal response technologies.

Wrap Technologies offers a complete public safety portfolio that includes the non-lethal BolaWrap 150 device, Wrap Reality immersive training platform, WrapVision body-worn camera system, WrapTactics training programs, and next-generation C-UAS solutions like PAN-DA and the 1KC Kinetic Anti-Drone Cassette. According to the company, these technologies support its mission to provide safer, scalable, and cost-effective solutions for public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure markets.

The BolaWrap 150 incorporates a multi-sensory distraction of sight and sound as a first response, followed by a non-lethal restraint if further escalation is required. This approach is intended to reduce the risk of injury to officers, subjects, and the community. Used by over 1,000 agencies across the U.S. and in 60 countries, BolaWrap is backed by training certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST).

Wrap Reality VR is a fully immersive training simulator designed to enhance decision-making under stress. As a comprehensive public safety training platform, it provides first responders with realistic, interactive scenarios that reflect the evolving challenges of modern law enforcement. The platform offers a growing library of real-world situations to equip officers with the skills and confidence to navigate high-stakes encounters effectively.

The company’s WrapVision body-worn camera and evidence management system, powered by IONODES, boasts streamlined cloud integration and final North American assembly, with a critical made-in-America roadmap projected for early 2026. This helps ensure data integrity and addresses concerns over unauthorized access or foreign surveillance risks.
