YCO Cloud and Aolani to Deploy One of the First NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 Clusters in the Philippines

YCO Cloud and Aolani have announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to deliver one of the first NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 cluster deployments in the Philippines. This initiative is set to bring purpose-built sovereign AI infrastructure to the country for the first time, designed to meet global sustainability standards for water usage and powered by dedicated renewable energy sources. The project aims to accelerate the Philippines' ambitions in sovereign digital capabilities and forward-looking innovation, marking a significant milestone in the nation's technological evolution.

The collaboration leverages the combined strengths of YCO Cloud, Aolani, and NVIDIA to establish a scalable, world-class AI ecosystem. Aolani provides AI infrastructure, GPU financing, deployment, and operating capabilities, while YCO Cloud delivers purpose-built, sustainable, and scalable digital infrastructure along with local expertise. Scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2027, the initial phase will deploy more than 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. This state-of-the-art computing infrastructure will be extended to local government bodies, domestic enterprises, and local startups, while also attracting innovative global AI-native companies. By democratizing access to advanced AI infrastructure, the partnership aims to drive local innovation and national economic productivity.

The Philippine government has welcomed the news, highlighting the opportunities for innovation, job creation, and economic growth. Leandro Angelo Y. Aguirre, Undersecretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology, emphasized that such collaborations enable Filipinos to become not just users but also builders and developers of AI. Rosemarie Edillon, Undersecretary of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, noted that the partnership positions the Philippines as a key player in AI infrastructure development as the world enters the Fifth Industrial Revolution.

YCO Cloud's commitment to environmental stewardship is central to the project. The company adheres to best practices for energy and water efficiency, aligning with global sustainability standards. Nik de Ynchausti, CEO of YCO Cloud, stated that the Philippines is ready to scale its digital infrastructure, citing robust submarine cable systems and growing renewable energy sources. The partnership with Science Park of the Philippines Inc. (SPPI) ensures access to best-in-country power, water, and connectivity infrastructure.
