Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center Set to Open, Blending AI and Human Connection

The Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center is set to open this autumn, with preparations nearly complete. Over the past month, thousands of merchants have launched a spontaneous campaign titled "A Golden Autumn Invitation Across a Thousand Miles," combining human warmth with technological power to convey Yiwu's openness to the world.

In this initiative, 100 Yiwu boss ladies and next-generation entrepreneurs have become emotional hubs, turning heartfelt stories of cooperation with foreign partners into micro-dramas that have resonated on social media. For instance, Chen Meijun invited her "foreign godson" from Uzbekistan who came to study traditional Chinese medicine. Sheng Yafang reached out to Sultan, a business partner from Uzbekistan she befriended 25 years ago through an act of honesty. Zhou Jingjing invited her Russian partner who, despite wartime hardships, spent seven years repaying debts. Xu Hua's South American client Marcos, who prepaid for goods early in business, will lead a team to Yiwu for the grand opening.

Beyond emotional connections, technology plays a key role. The Chinagoods AI (CGAI) platform has enabled merchants to create AI-generated brand commercials, overcoming traditional cost and time barriers. At the "Global Digital Trade Center 1,000 Brand TVC Premiere and AI Social Media Marketing Summit," a thousand AI-generated brand commercials were unveiled simultaneously. The system allows rapid creation of region-specific content tailored to visual preferences of markets like Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Two AI-generated creative videos have gained traction: To the Summit uses Mount Everest imagery to depict digital traders launching the "Global Digital Trade Crystal." Breaking Boundaries features a hot air balloon soaring across global landmarks, extending an invitation in multiple languages. Within one day, the video surpassed 3.9 million views.

The Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center represents a next-generation market and a "digital trade infrastructure" powered by AI. As a national strategic project, it focuses on fashion accessories, smart home products, collectible toys, outdoor leisure, and consumer electronics, with 3,760 innovative shops. The center aims to establish a fully digitized, round-the-clock "intelligent trade ecosystem" where language, time zones, and geography are no longer obstacles.

As the CGAI project lead stated, "We are committed to empowering every small and medium-sized merchant with the 'content creativity' and 'brand communication power' that once belonged exclusively to international major brands." The opening ceremony will feature a welcome gala for global buyers, a new product launch live festival, and an AI interactive experience exhibition.

From humble beginnings to digital trade, Yiwu continues to advance with the global market. The city leverages technology and trust to become a global digital trade hub. "A Thousand Miles, One Wind" embodies the shared journey with global partners. This October, Yiwu invites the world to witness a new era in global digital trade.
